What is your goal for the next year?

Few ways to keep the motivation going.

  • One proven way to keep the motivation up is to take one picture every month of your progress.

  • Don't get on the scale every day, once a week or every two weeks is enough, ensure you do it always at the same time of the day, preferably upon waking up.

  • A cheat day is good but derails faster into one or two, if you use this technique make sure your discipline is up for it.

  • Taking a break? We all need one every now and then, research have shown that to maintain your progress you need to keep 60% of your training during that time.

  • Train with partner and challenge each other!

  • Look out for new exercises that you like.

  • Balance your training with adequate rest, overreaching is good but too much will lead you to overtraining which is much harder to get out from.

  • Find your final goal and divide it into small milestones, be realistic and you will achieve them.

  • Don't get discouraged if there's a step back, it's normal just tell yourself when you fail grade 10 do you go back to grade 1?
